FREQUENTLY ASKED
- Can I log an expense without internet?
- Yes. The entry is saved on the device immediately and appears in the list right then. It syncs to the cloud by itself once you're back online.
- Where do the exchange rates come from?
- The Central Bank's official daily feed (cbar.az), once per day. If the feed hasn't been published — during a public holiday, for instance — the app looks back up to 7 days for the last valid rate.
- Does the rate on a past expense change?
- The conversion is live — a rate is never frozen onto an entry. So an older expense shows its AZN equivalent at the current rate.
- Can I sign in with an email and password?
- No. Only Google and Apple sign-in exist. The Apple button appears on iOS only.
- Can I add my own category?
- No. The 16 categories are fixed — keeping the list short is a core principle of the app.
- Are there charts or a month-by-month history?
- No. Qəpik shows the current month's total and the budget bar; there is no chart, report or archive screen.
- Does it log recurring or subscription charges automatically?
- No. Every entry is manual. "Subscriptions" is simply a category.
- How do I delete my account?
- From the profile section in the app. Deletion covers the Firestore document, its subcollections, the local database on the device and the auth account.
- Is there a web version?
- No. Qəpik is an iOS and Android app only; this site is just an information page.
